Former M7 and Oaktree execs launch real estate tech firm
Green Street News covered the launch of Tidebridge in March 2026. The firm was founded by Oli Farago, former CTO of M7 Real Estate and CEO of Coyote Software, and Ben Deacon, former COO of Oaktree's Victoria Asset Management, with Julian Ionescu (formerly of ARGUS and Coyote) and Rhys Ackery (formerly of JLL and Coyote) as founding partners.
The thinking behind the firm is that advances in AI have made it practical to build systems around each firm's own portfolio, workflows and reporting, instead of forcing the business into a generic product. Tidebridge works as a fractional data and technology back office: fixing data, building custom workflows and automation, and hosting everything in the client's environment with full ownership of the platform and code.
At launch the firm was already working with FTSE 250 landlords, King's Cross, Battersea Power Station, Mirastar, and investors and lenders across the UK and Europe.
“We can now build in two weeks what would have taken over three months.”
“It finally makes economic sense to build systems around the business rather than forcing the business into generic products. We are operators first.”
