Hi, Ben here. Looks like you've found our redirect to Staverton Partners' new home: Tidebridge. I thought it was appropriate to leave a little morsel of web history behind here on this webpage - the last hidden remnant of Staverton Partners which began in February 2021 during the pandemic, and transferred across to Tidebridge just over five years later. This page is a bit like the Easter Egg inside Excel 97, but arguably better 😉.

Staverton came about because I'm passionate about solving problems using a blend of technology and consulting. Too many times, I've witnessed an eye-wateringly expensive PowerPoint being delivered by management consultants to a client that illustrates exactly the problems that the client already knew they had. "Now it's over to you to solve it!"

I've always said that if you understand a process well, you can run a business using post-it notes - not a spreadsheet or database in sight. Obviously, we know we can do better than this, but I'm a firm believer in graphically documenting processes, gaining a shared understanding of the problem and solving that problem together using simple tools, one step at a time. Better to fail first on paper, than in code.

I hadn't really realised I was one of the only people in the industry offering this service at the time. Call it imposter syndrome, maybe, but I definitely got lucky and had the privilege of working with clients that bigger players could only dream of working with!

When Oli approached me to set up Tidebridge together in November 2025, I knew immediately it was the right thing to do.

Was I scared? Massively so - sleepless nights doesn't even cover it!

Would I miss the Staverton brand and all that I'd achieved? Hell yeah!

But the opportunity of sharing the journey with a really strong team was too compelling to deny. Not only better for my health and happiness (in theory!), but ultimately better for clients - with the ability to share problems and explore solutions together.

I want to thank each and every one of Staverton's customers for their support over the five years we were active - without you, I might well have regretted my decision to leave a solid job in the city!
