Jimmy King

Jimmy trained as a surveyor on CBRE's graduate programme, then spent seven years at CBRE advising central London landlords on retail leasing and development across Regent Street, Mayfair, Soho, Fitzrovia and Chelsea, rising to Associate Director.

He moved into property technology in 2017, spending eight years as a Senior Director at VTS while London's agents and landlords adopted it for leasing and asset management, then led enterprise sales across EMEA at Fifth Dimension.

In March 2026 he founded Vela Advisors, advising real estate firms on technology strategy, AI adoption and governance, including readiness for the RICS standard on responsible use of AI. Seven clients in six months showed him where the market was going: firms had stopped asking for a strategy and started asking who would build it. He joined Tidebridge as Partner and Commercial Director to answer that question, and leads commercial growth, partnerships and events.
